Bush: A mature honeysuckle bush forms a dense, spreading shrub that can reach 1.5 m in height and the same in width. Planting season is autumn (October–November) or spring (April).
Berries: The berries are elongated-oval, deep blue with a white waxy coating. Each berry weighs 1.5–2.5 g. The flesh is firm, juicy, without bitterness, and has a distinctive sweet flavor (which is how the variety got its name).
Harvest: A mature honeysuckle bush yields 2.5–3.5 kg per season. Harvest takes place in mid-July and continues until the end of summer. The berries do not crumble, and the separation is dry.
Care: Honeysuckle is easy to care for. It grows well both in sun and partial shade. It does not require heavy or intensive watering like blueberries, and it begins to fruit almost the year after planting. However, cross-pollination is required for fruiting, so planting several varieties side-by-side is recommended. The variety is frost-resistant and less susceptible to diseases and pests.
