Laboratory In-Vitro

The laboratory of Bera Farm Ukraine is one of the first in Volhynia to successfully apply the method of microclonal breeding of blueberries.
In Vitro allows you to grow an almost unlimited amount of high-quality planting material of the same type, free from viruses, pathogens and pests, in a short period of time.
The explant is cut so that the upper and lower sections are at least 5 mm from the kidney and placed in sterile flasks with nutrient medium.
In sterile conditions, plants are planted in a nutrient medium that stimulates their growth and development of the root system.
Special environment in which plants grow: lighting 2150 – 4300 lumens/m2, warm- and cold-white fluorescent lamps, 16 hours of light/8 hours of darkness. Temperature regime: 24...26oC.
Acclimatization of plants - planting in seedling cassettes (multiplates) with prepared acidic peat.
