Plant description: Actinidia arguta 'Original' is a Ukrainian variety belonging to the Argutaceae family. It is a powerful deciduous vine that can reach 20 meters in height. During flowering, the plant acquires a special decorative appearance due to delicate white flowers with a pleasant aroma. It is perfect for landscaping arbors, fences and arches, creating a picturesque green carpet.

Fruits: The berries of 'Original' are quite large - their mass is 14-16 g. They have an elongated-cylindrical shape, light green color and smooth skin without blush. The flesh is tender, juicy, with a pleasant sweet-sour taste and light aroma. The crop ripens in mid-September, and from one adult bush you can collect from 10 to 25 kg of berries annually.

Growing conditions: Actinidia is a light-loving plant that grows best in well-lit areas. At the same time, it tolerates light shading well. It prefers fertile, well-drained soils with a neutral or slightly acidic reaction.

Care: The plant requires regular watering, especially during growth and fruiting. Mulching is recommended to preserve moisture in the soil. An important stage of care is pruning - it is carried out in spring or autumn, forming a vine and improving its fruiting.

Pollination: Actinidia 'Original' is a dioecious plant, therefore, to obtain a crop, it is necessary to plant male and female plants next to each other. The optimal ratio is one male specimen for 5-6 female ones.
