Rosarium Uetersen is a stunning climbing rose, perfect for arches, pergolas, trellises, and walls. Bred in Germany, this rose has long become a classic due to its strength, vibrant color, and exceptional hardiness.
Bush:
Vigorous, with dense green foliage. It grows slowly but steadily, reaching up to 300 cm in height, forming a thick wall of glossy dark green leaves. The shoots are covered with numerous thorns, a sign of strength that naturally protects the plant.
Flowers:
Large, 10–12 cm in diameter, fully double — up to 100 petals per bloom. Buds are pointed and open into deep, cup-shaped flowers. The rich pink color gradually softens to a silvery hue as the flowers mature. Each cluster holds 3 to 5 blooms.
Fragrance:
Light and refined, with pleasant apple-like notes. Not overpowering, but noticeable at a close distance.
Blooming:
Abundant and repeat-flowering, starting in June and continuing until the first frosts. The most intense bloom occurs in the first wave, when the plant is covered in a thick carpet of flowers.
Frost Resistance:
Impressive — withstands down to -31°C without losing its ornamental qualities. Perfectly suited for the Ukrainian climate, including the northern regions.
Disease Resistance:
High. Tolerates rain well and is resistant to powdery mildew and black spot when provided with good air circulation.
Site Requirements:
Prefers sunny locations or light shade. Soil should be fertile and well-drained. Requires regular watering, especially during flowering periods. Plant in holes at least 50 cm deep, enriched with compost or well-rotted manure.
