Panicle hydrangea with a strong, upright growth habit. A mature shrub reaches 2–2.5 m in height and 2–2.5 m in width, forming a wide, well-branched crown. The shoots are thick and sturdy, reliably supporting large inflorescences without the need for staking. The variety shows vigorous growth and responds well to formative pruning.
The inflorescences are very large, broadly conical, 30–40 cm long, dense, and evenly filled with flowers. At the beginning of flowering, the color is light creamy, gradually changing to soft pink shades in the second half of the season. The color transition is smooth and does not depend on soil acidity. The inflorescences retain their shape well, are resistant to rain and wind, and remain decorative until autumn.
Flowering begins in late June and lasts until September. Inflorescences form on the current year’s shoots, ensuring stable annual flowering regardless of winter conditions. The shrub is evenly covered with panicles, without gaps in the crown, which is important for both ornamental and commercial plantings.
It grows best in sunny locations or light partial shade. Requires fertile, well-structured, well-drained soils with a slightly acidic to neutral reaction. Watering should be regular during dry periods; waterlogging is undesirable. Frost resistance is high — down to –28 °C, and winter protection is usually not required.
Pruning is carried out in early spring with shoot shortening, which stimulates the formation of large inflorescences and allows control of the shrub’s size. Fertilizing with complex fertilizers is recommended in spring before the start of active growth. Care is standard for panicle hydrangeas, without special requirements.
