Bush: The Spartan blueberry has an upright, slightly raised form and can reach a height of 1.5-2 meters. The bush has a sparse crown, allowing the plant to be well-ventilated and receive maximum sunlight. The leaves are large, oval, and slightly wrinkled, and in the autumn, they turn reddish, adding to the decorative appeal of the bush. The flowers are large and white, blooming late, which helps avoid damage from late frosts.

Fruits: The berries are large, light blue with a pronounced grayish wax coating. They have a pleasant sweet-tart taste, a strong aroma, and a firm texture. The fruit reaches a size of 16-18 mm in diameter. The berries ripen in mid-July and are gathered in loose clusters, making the harvesting process easier. The berries are very tasty, well transportable, and maintain their appearance during transportation.

Harvest: The berries ripen starting from the second decade of July. The first harvest produces the largest fruits, and with each subsequent harvest, the berries become slightly smaller, but their quality remains unaffected. The variety is suitable for mechanized harvesting, which is a significant advantage for large-scale farms. The average yield per bush is 4.5-6 kg.

Care: It requires regular watering, especially during active growth and fruit ripening, with the best option being drip irrigation. Pruning is done in early spring, removing old and damaged branches, which helps improve ventilation and encourages the growth of new shoots. Mulching the soil helps maintain the necessary moisture and acidity, which is essential for the plant's health.
