Flowering. Begins in summer
Watering. In the summer months, the bushes need abundant watering. In the spring and autumn period, they are watered moderately.
Humidity. Requires high humidity. On hot days, the bush should be sprayed with water.
Fertilizer. Top dressing is carried out in the period from February to October. For this, a mineral complex for flowering plants (heathers, azaleas and rhododendrons) is used, and fertilizers are applied to the soil twice a month. In winter, the plant does not need fertilizers.
Dormancy period. Observed in December and January.
Transplantation. It is carried out only for indoor hydrangea every year.
Pruning. In autumn, when the bushes have faded, weakened stems should be cut off, and powerful shoots should be shortened by ½ of their length. With the onset of spring, all weak stems that have stretched greatly during the dormant period are removed.
